Valerie joined Guardian Litigation in 2022 as a Legal Assistant.
Being raised in Fountain Valley, she was exposed to countless difficulties faced by the minority communities. From there, she became inspired to study Criminology and Criminal Justice at California State University Long Beach in order to better understand how the justice system affected communities similar to her own. Through her studies and internships, she began to realize the joy she could experience from helping others achieve their lifetime goals or helping them through tough obstacles. Currently, she is working on obtaining a Paralegal certificate through UCLA Extension.
In her spare time, she enjoys going on hikes, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family."
